Our online meetings offer support and discussion for individuals who are dealing with a pregnancy loss of any type. The online platform allows individuals from all over to come together and find a community that may not be available in their local area. We hope that these meetings can help with healing, reflection, grieving, and addressing emotions no matter how recent or long ago the loss was.
Meetings are led by Through the Heart staff and volunteers and are a peer support group conducted via a video chat. Discussions are not to be considered medical advice.
Prior registration is required and spaces are limited in order to keep an intimate, personalized setting. Meetings are one hour long unless otherwise noted.
Topics and dates rotate to meet the changing needs to our community. Below are the descriptions for all topics that are actively being scheduled along with upcoming dates and links to register.
Coping with Pregnancy Loss:
Join others who understand the pain of losing a child. This discussion is a general support group for anyone who has experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, or any other type of loss. During the meeting, participants are encouraged to share about their experience, ask questions, express emotions, and help others by providing ideas and encouragement.
This is a peer-led group and focuses primarily on the emotional and psychological aspect of pregnancy loss. Although questions regarding the physical nature of loss are allowed, any information shared is personal advice and not that of a medical professional.
